That’s a quite early release, which Mozilla’s talking about as “pre-Alpha”, although should provide experimental amongst you something to tide you over until the full release.

Mozilla lists a number of caveats before providing up a download link. First of all, it’s just been tested for the Motorola Droid and Google android nexus one. Secondly there may be bugs in it which will cause your phone to need a reboot. There’s memory problems that did not been optimized at this point, and you’ll need Android 2. or above. Finally, it can’t open links from other programs yet.

If you are okay with all of that, and also you intend to give it a try, then go to bit.ly/fennec-android from the phone and get the .apk file. Be sure to do the installation to the internal memory, instead of an SD card, and you shouldn’t be scared to force-quit from Settings > Apps > Manage Apps if you happen to run into problems. Also you’ll need to enable “Unknown sources” from Settings > Apps before you install, also.
