JVC Everio GZ-X900 is a new hybrid dual-use camera that can shoot high quality digital stills and HD video.  JVC Everio GZ-X900 features a top-mounted zoom and record buttons, and a second set next to the LCD screen.  With the internal battery and memory card,  JVC  Everio X weighs 0.66 pounds and measures 2.6 inches tall, 4.88 inches long and only 1.46 inches wide.

JVC  Everio Xshoots nine-megapixel digital stills images and Full HD video with 1000 TV lines of horizontal resolution, which is close to the theoretical maximum horizontal resolution for 1920 x 1080 high definition video.

JVC Everio GZ-X900 features optical image stabilization technology, HD Gigabrid Premium image processing engine, face detection technology and uses a new KONICA MINOLTA HD LENS with a 5X optical zoom.

JVC Everio GZ-X900 high-speed recording function shoots ultra-slow motion video. You can select one of three speeds – 120 (fps), 300fps and 600fps. With this function, approximately four-second bursts of video are recorded that are then played back over a period of up to 24 seconds, a maximum of 10 times longer than normal speed.
